Counting Twenty

This maths scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to explore how to model and illustrate ways of counting different numbers of objects and pictures with matching sums to twenty. The class can practise using concrete equipment and pictorial diagrams to support how to count each of the sets of numbers.

Abacus Numbers

Rolling Numbers
Investigate how to select and record a range of different numbers to twenty using both shapes and numerals that can be produced when rolling dice
