Activities in this teaching pack include an assessment test to assess understanding of calculate fractions of quantities and numbers complete with a marking scheme and matching record sheet and a worksheet to help the children assess their own progress for the National Curriculum programmes of study about calculating and identifying unit fractions of shapes, numbers and quantities.

This lesson is part of a maths scheme of work to assess abilities in working with numbers to solve abstract and contextual problems when calculating sums, products and quotients using different techniques and methods.
