Lesson Five – Braille Museum

This history teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to investigate how to produce a classroom display as a museum to describe and illustrate the importance of the life of Louis Braille in the past and his affect on other people.

The class can design and make models of artefacts connected to the the history of Braille such as example alphabet letters and special tools used in the boys’ home.
