Lesson Six – News Report

This history teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to practise writing and presenting a news report to record facts and information about what happened during Shackleton’s expedition to the Antarctic in the past.
The class can identify and illustrate the sequence of events as to how Shackleton and his crew were rescued after they became stranded in the Antarctic.
