Lesson Two – Farm Diary
This geography teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to identify and compare some of the different jobs that are performed daily by a farmer when working on a farm to grow crops and care for the animals.

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and compare some of the different jobs performed daily by a farmer when working on a farm and a template to select and record a job performed by a farmer on a farm using an illustration and text sentences.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the different jobs performed daily by a farmer when working on a farm.
This lesson is part of a geography scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and compare the location and function of farms in relation to other places and activities including food production using crops and animals.
