Lesson Two – Countryside

Activities in this teaching pack include a shared reading text to identify and define descriptive vocabulary in a poem that could be used to describe special places that families can visit on an outing, a worksheet for core and extension ability levels to compose sentences about visiting the countryside using the conjunction and to link words and clauses and a set of cards for support ability levels to build sentences about a family visit using the conjunction and to link words and clauses.
