Lesson Five – Flower Vase

This art and design teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to investigate and record how to produce a still life drawing of a vase of flowers as preparation for creating a full painting of the same scene.

Activities in this teaching pack include a display poster to identify and describe some of the shapes and colours used in a painting of a vase of flowers and a template to add lines and colours when sketching to represent different flowers as preparation for creating a full painting.
