Holiday Shirts

This curriculum topic scheme of work for the Foundation Stage gets the children to produce items of clothing to wear on a holiday to a particular location by selecting and using shapes to represent different places. The class can design other items of beachwear that could be worn when visiting the seaside on holiday.

Explore how to design and produce a shirt that is suitable to be worn on a family holiday to the seaside by adding matching pictures using sets of shapes

Practise designing a set of matching clothes that could be worn on a family seaside holiday using different shapes, colours and patterns
