Lesson Five – Sea Life

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and describe some of the different animals that live in the sea, a set of cards to group sets of animals that live on the land or in the sea and a template to design and produce a collage of a sea creature using paper materials.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to describe and compare some of the different types of animals that can be found living in the sea.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to identify and describe some of the different bodies of water that can be found around the world including the plants and animals that live in each habitat. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
