Lesson Five – By Plane

Activities in this teaching pack include a set of cards to identify and sequence instructions to follow when travelling by air on an aeroplane and a template to select and record information about some of the places that could be visited when traveling by air on an aeroplane.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore some of the different destinations that could be visited using air travel on an aeroplane.
This lesson is part of a numeracy scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and compare some of the different journeys that can be made by bus, train or plane for a range of purposes by families. There are teaching activities for shared learning, differentiated worksheets to support independent learning and interactive presentations to introduce concepts and key skills.
