Spring
This curriculum topic scheme of work for the Foundation Stage gets the children to identify and describe how the world changes during the season of spring and investigate and record information about some of the new life that grows at this time of the year on farms and in family gardens.

Identify, describe and print patterns and shapes to reflect flowers that can grow in family gardens during the spring

Identify and compare some of the different animals that live in the school grounds and make comparisons between animals that live in other habitats

Name, model and classify some example four sided shapes with matching numbers of corners and sides that can be seen and used in different locations
