Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to identify and define vocabulary words that can be used to describe different foods and a shared reading text to describe the format and structure of a set of instructions about how to make a type of food.

The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to follow a set of instructions to make cookies using different coloured dried fruit toppings.
