This maths scheme of work for Key Stage One gets the children to identify, calculate and record the start and finish times and durations of different family events and experiences using analogue and digital clocks. The class can explain how to count in steps of five minutes around clock faces to find the matching times.

Calculate and record the duration of different bus journeys using times to five minutes
Lesson Four : Family Timetables
Select and record start and finish times and durations of different family events and experiences
Lesson Five : Running Times
Calculate the duration of different sporting events by counting in intervals of five minutes
